The interpretation of the speed maps and time series of deformation allowed the anticipated detection of abnormal widespread displacement on warehouses and metal storage silo areas.
InSAR interferometry is the most cost-effective method since allowed in less than 20 days to process 245 images taken over 5 years and conclusively pointed out the most critical deformity and failures points allowing preventive maintenance in such areas to ensure a proper business continuity of the port's logistical operation.

Performed (i) global analysis: calculation of deformation speed over the entire area; (ii) local analysis: detailed study of the area of interest to minimize possible sources of error such as atmospheric effects; and (iii) analysis of co-seismic deformation where possible existence of significant co-seismic movements affecting the area of interest were evaluated.
